Inside Sales

Position Title: Inside Sales Representative
Reporting to: VP, Sales & Business Development
Location: San Jose, California
Territory: North America and EMEA

Position Summary
The ideal candidate is highly motivated, self-starter, willing and able to efficiently cultivate and manage the full sales cycle from initial contact, including cold calls to close. The candidate must have a successful and verifiable track record in meeting sales targets in the enterprise software industry. Ideal candidate must have sold solutions to C-Level Executives, IT Directors, Director of Networking Group, Access Control Group, ID Management and others in similar roles. Should have 3-5 years experience selling complex IT solutions.

Major Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Make cold calls and generate interest using modified messaging
  • Participate/Conduct demos – remotely or on premises
  • Interact with prospects and provide product information
  • Drive opportunities to POC (proof of concept) and evaluation stages
  • Meet quota in assigned region
  • Provide customer based feedback and ideas to management
  • Participate in tradeshows


Minimum required experience

  • MSP, SP, SaaS, SI, VAR software sales experience in IT industry
  • 5+ years in sales
  • 3+ years channel sales management experience
  • Inventive and effective approach to selling
  • Exhibits a positive attitude toward the company, distributors and resellers
  • Required travel: limited
  • BS or equivalent
  • Professional sales training is desirable
