Ensim to Showcase Unify Enterprise Edition’s Cost Savings Benefits at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference
Demonstration to Highlight 3 Steps for Reducing Microsoft Exchange Server Management Costs by Half
Denver, CO –- July 10, 2007 - Booth # 960 - Ensim Corporation, the leading provider of management software for unified communications and collaboration infrastructure, will demonstrate the capabilities of its Unify Enterprise Edition at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference 2007 in Denver. The demonstration will show how enterprises can use Unify to cut their Microsoft Exchange Server management costs in half in just three easy steps.
Ensim Unify Enterprise Edition is the industry’s first integrated management solution for enterprise unified communications that enables IT departments in medium and large organizations to easily manage applications through a single, centralized platform. By automating the secure provisioning of user accounts, groups and devices via a role-based administration portal, Ensim Unify helps organizations significantly reduce their costs of operations while increasing IT and employee productivity.
In addition to showing ways enterprises can use Unify to cut in half the total cost of ownership in managing Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 and 2007, Ensim’s product demonstration will also highlight Unify’s numerous other capabilities that are designed to reduce the cost of deploying and administering unified communications. These include:
- Automated provisioning of multiple features and applications, such as Exchange Server 2003 and Exchange Server Active Directory, with associated devices via a single command
- Instant self-configuration of clients and devices, such as Microsoft Office Outlook, IP phones and mobile devices
- Single user password creation, reset and management across all communications services
- Secure delegation of tasks to help desk personnel
Ensim has also begun incorporating “Certified for Windows Server 2008” logo test requirements into its Unify product. The logo supports rigorous standards for stability, security, reliability and overall performance and was designed to provide IT professionals with a valuable tool for identifying top-performing solutions for their enterprises.
“Microsoft is excited to see partners like Ensim innovating on our core technologies to provide significant benefits for our mutual customers,” said Joseph Landes, Windows Server marketing director. “We are especially pleased that Ensim has invested in meeting the Certified for Windows Server 2008 technical bar to provide solutions that enterprise customers can deploy with confidence.”
