Full-featured, Self-service Functionality Based on IT Policies

When employees want to be added to an email group list they typically call the helpdesk, which costs time and money.  It can take 1 to 5 days, depending on backlog for the help desk to process the request. That’s a long time to wait to simply get on a distribution list created or to get a group created.

From the help desk perspective, creation or modification of each group/list takes an average of 7 minutes depending on the size of the group. So, for an organization with 1,000 distribution lists – the average amount of time spent just creating these 1,000 groups it over 167 total hours.
