Sales Manager

Position Title: Sales Manager EMEA
Reporting to: VP, Sales & Business Development
Territory: EMEA

Position Summary
The Sales Manager EMEA will sell the Ensim products and services portfolio to telecommunication companies and internet/hosting service providers, in the EMEA region as directed by Ensim. Execute a sale from lead to cash: prospect, qualify, present, negotiate and close. Further, to actively engage and manage relationships with applicable Microsoft field personnel and other parties as required to jointly pursue opportunities and obtain new prospects.

Major Responsibilities/Tasks

  • Drive revenue to meet and exceed targets as set by Ensim
  • Create account plans
  • Manage prospects and track day-to-day status in CRM system
  • Recruit and qualify new customers
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline of business to ensure business quotas can be exceeded
  • Work with and for other team members (and departments) to ensure Company success
  • Provide customer based feedback and ideas to management
  • Maintain and provide customer database/history/forecasting and notes
  • Maintain market and product knowledge pro-actively
  • Perform presentations to customers, prospects, strategic partners, industry representatives and internal company resources
  • Collaborate with professional services, engineering, product management and marketing to meet the customer’s expectations
  • Represent both the company and its products in a precise and credible manner

 

Minimum required experience (Required education, specific knowledge, skills, abilities, and prior experience)

  • A minimum of 5 years experience generating sales with direct customer contact in a ISP, HSP and/or telecommunications environment
  • Proven track record and experience in executing consultative sales processes and complex bid management
  • Sufficient knowledge of relevant Windows technologies (WBH, WSS, HMC, CSF) to participate in engagement discussions with customers and/or partners (such as Microsoft representatives)
  • Ability and strong desire to present technology in a sales capacity
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English. Skills in other European languages (French, German, Dutch, Spanish, Italian) are preferred
  • Able to work independently with a tenacious desire to win
  • BS/MS/BA degree in sales/marketing/business preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.)
  • Frequent travel will be required
